xName: Aechmea Fasciata, also known as the "Silver Sparrow" Origin: Aechmea Fasciata is native to the tropical regions of Southeast Brazil. Did you know that?: Aechmea Fasciata is part of the bromeliad family and is popularly called the "vase plant", due to its leaves that form a cone from which the magnificent inflorescence rises. The height of the plant, including the pot, is 60-65 cm, and the diameter of the pot is 15 cm. The plant is sold with flowers, and its inflorescence can last up to 6 months.
Care
Light: Aechmea Fasciata prefers bright, but indirect light. Place the plant in a well-lit spot, but avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves. Watering: Water the plant regularly, keeping the soil moist but well-drained. Fill the funnel formed by the leaves with fresh water. Moisture: This plant prefers a humid environment. Mist the leaves occasionally or use a humidifier to maintain optimal humidity. Substrate: Use a neutral peat substrate. Multiplication: The plant is propagated by separating the offspring from the mother plant. The offspring are separated when they reach 5-7 cm and can bloom on their own. Features: The spike (flower) is a long-lived bract, lasting about 6 months. After the flower fades, the stem is cut at the base, and the plant forms many pups around it. Observation: It is not a fragile plant, but it must be watered correctly to develop harmoniously.
Animal Safety
Aechmea Fasciata is not known to be toxic to pets, making it a safe choice for homes with dogs and cats. However, it is always recommended to avoid pets chewing the plants to prevent possible digestive problems.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday will be delivered in 2-3 days. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be shipped on Monday, ensuring that your plants arrive in the best possible condition.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
